Hi there all,

We got our now 9 week old puppy Roscoe from a breeder here in California. He is the best pup ever. VERY vocal and talkative, very sensitive, sleeps all night unless he has to go to the bathroom, then he tells us and we take him then he goes right back to sleep with us.

He loves his piggy chew toy and wants to be with us and have us in his view at all times. Sometimes that is not possible and he cries but he gets over it and lays down in his bed.

He gets no human food what so ever and we limit his treats to 1 small treat a day. I am wondering how often I should feed him and how much per time? Would love suggestions.

Roscoe is now 7 months old and HUGE! He has come a long long way from the tiny 9 week old puppy.

Virginia thank you for the feeding advice.. I have him at 1 cup of food 3 times a day now. I also put him on a grain free food.

Thanks for sharing! Love the pics. Looks kind of like my new Basset Hound puppy which we got this year. I need to start writing again and sharing pictures and stories. I would talk to the breeder about how often to feed. I would say 3 times per day. At about 6 months, we started feeding our puppy 2 times per day and she is fine. Enjoy!
