curious george!

at the beach, george's favourite place!
I fell in love with george at first sight. He is now a 1 year old BIG bassett and still growing, weighing 25 kilos already!
george is a great dog, full of love and so gentle with us and children, loves other dogs and everyone he meets on the street.
We have had our fair share of stories! george is a sweetie. But he is also a thief and has an obsession with toilet roll, underwear, socks, shoes, paper, butter, plastic bottles etc etc etc and once he has got a hold of his "prey" there is no way he will give it up!!!!
He is so curious. He is often sticking his nose in places he shouldn't, most notably in some superglue!
But for all the sleepless nights (he is now house trained - but it took us 9 months) and destroyed socks, i wouldn't change him for the world. He is a lovely dog and we love him so much. He makes us a family and we couldn't live without him!
I would recommend a bassett as an easy-going, friendly and happy dog to anyone, as long as they are not adverse to a daily vacuum, as you would not believe the hair!
