Basset Hound Rescue: San Diego

Basset Hound Rescue of San Diego benefits from teenager's fundraising efforts.

18-year-old Darah Gerou, a proactive teenager with cerebral palsy, is raising money for the San Diego Basset rescue organization as part of her senior project for school. She is expected to raise more than $8000 this April (2007).

Jerri Caswell started the rescue organization which has found loving homes for Basset Hounds since 1991. If you live in the San Diego, California area and would like to adopt a Basset Hound, then visit the rescue's web site to learn about the adoption process and fill out an online application.
